Hello Volunteers!
We will be out at East Side Park digging up/salvaging native plants in anticipation of the heavy construction that will take place this year for our larger project of converting this lot into a universally-accessible greenspace. We'd like to salvage as many native plants as we can to eventually replant them back into the property once construction has concluded, but we'll need some help doing that. We will provide soil knives, shovels, and plant pots to transplant the pre-identified plants from the site. If you have some time Saturday, May 23rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, we would love for you to come out and join us!
For more information, please reach out to me if you have any questions!
Best,
Sloan Miles
