Welcome Black Warrior Riverkeeper and Jefferson County Greenways Volunteers!
We're very excited for you to be joining us for a creek cleanup day at Turkey Creek Nature Preserve. We'll primarily focus our efforts in and around specific areas of the creek collecting trash and general debris. Location: 3906 Turkey Creek Rd, Pinson, AL 35126. (Please plan to meet the group and our Maintenance Technician at our Blue Holes lot which will be the first gravel parking space on your left as you drive into the preserve. Once everyone arrives, BWRK staff will brief over the day, and then the group will collectively walk along the paved road down to the Falls where the group will start the cleanup).

Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
What to bring: water bottle, sunscreen, hat (all optional). Grabbers and trash bags will be provided for during the workday.
What to wear: Tall rain boots/waders/water shoes/sandals are all fine footwear. A change of clothes and towel are encouraged for after the workday is completed. Our Pavilion will be open for anyone wanting to change in our bathrooms afterwards.
